Join us at the AACR Annual Meeting to see how we can help you advance innovative cancer research to improve patient care. The surge in personalized medicine research and development activities coincides with the rapidly decreasing cost of human genome mapping and growing understanding of disease heterogeneity. At BioIVT, we recognize the importance of personalized medicine and its increasing impact on the oncology market. By combining our technical expertise, exceptional customer service, and unparalleled access to biological specimens, BioIVT serves the research community as a trusted partner in ELEVATING SCIENCE. T cell-mediated cytotoxicity plays an important role in a suite of new methods being developed with the goal of boosting a patient’s immune system to combat cancer. In order to properly optimize adoptive T cell immunotherapies, accurate, sensitive in vitro methods must first be included prior to clinical testing. In this tutorial, we describe phenotypic and quantitative image-based methods to assess T cell activation, T cell: target cell interactions, and eventual induction of target cell death. Data from 2D and 3D target cell models, as well as T cells activated using general and directed methods (in the presence of target cells), will be presented.
