With activity equivalent to that of freshly isolated hepatocytes, cryopreserved hepatocytes from BioIVT let you conduct your experiments when you want to. Hepatocytes are isolated and cryopreserved on the same day. Cryopreserved hepatocytes typically are used to study both phase I and phase II metabolism.

BioIVT can also prepare custom orders of cryopreserved hepatocytes from other species not found on this list. Custom sizes are also available. To receive a quote for a custom preparation, contact Customer Service.
BioIVT recommends the use of INVITROGRO™ HT medium and TORPEDO™ Antibiotic Mix for thawing cryopreserved hepatocytes.
