We offer multi-transporter models to investigate how various transporters work together to move xenobiotics and endogenous ligands throughout the body. Our OPTI-EXPRESSION™ Technology allows co-expression of transporters in polarized mammalian cell monolayers, where they are localized to the appropriate, physiologically-relevant membrane (i.e., apical or basolateral). This technology also allows us to control expression levels of individual transporters in order to mimic in vivo expression.

The table below lists the multi-transporter models that are currently available. We also offer Custom Development services to create multi-transporter models that are customized for study requirements.

Notes for multiple transporter models:

  1. In all multiple transporter models, each transporter is localized to the appropriate membrane.
  2. All control cells are exactly matched to the cells used in the assays.
  3. All transporters are human, and all cells used are MDCK-II.
